QA is one of tech's main career-change entry points, and the translation usually already exists in your history: support engineers have reproduced bugs for years, analysts have validated data, ops people have written runbooks that are test procedures in disguise. Name the artifact in QA vocabulary: "wrote reproduction steps for 400+ customer issues" becomes defect reporting; "verified monthly reconciliation" becomes data validation testing. Pair the resume with one small public proof (a GitHub repo with API tests against a public API) so the transition claim has a checkable anchor.
